"Protect and Prevent: Vaccine Essentials for Seniors"

Fri, May 16

Vaccinations are one of the greatest public health achievements of the 20th century. Vaccination is a crucial aspect of preventive healthcare, particularly for seniors who face increased vulnerability to infectious diseases.

This presentation, Protect and Prevent: Vaccine Essentials for Seniors, explores the history of vaccines and highlights key immunizations recommended for older adults. We will review the importance, effectiveness, and recommended schedules for these vaccinations to reduce the risk of severe illness, hospitalization, and complications.
By staying informed and up to date on immunization recommendations for themselves and for their families, seniors can protect themselves and their communities, ensuring healthier aging.

Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of vaccine benefits and practical steps to become proactive in their healthcare decisions.
