With Dr. Mike Wischnowski, Jennifer Hughes and Fr. William Graf

Tue, Sep 9

Dr. Mike Wischnowski is Professor Emeritus from the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. School of Education at St. John Fisher University. He has taught classes in teacher and administrator preparation programs there and at the University of Rochester and SUNY-Geneseo.  He has a PH.D. in Education from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.  He is a member of St. Benedict Parish in Canandaigua and serves on the Program Committee for Notre Dame Retreat House.

As Faith Formation Coordinator at St. Martin de Porres Parish in Caledonia, Scottsville, and Churchville, Jen is passionate about accompanying others on their journeys of faith. Her academic background, a Master’s in Theology and a Master’s in Art Therapy, allows her to create spaces where catechesis, creativity, faith, and fun come together. A lifelong learner and artist, Jen enjoys exploring new artistic media and believes that art is a powerful pathway to encountering the divine as well as just being fun! Her understanding of spiritual pathways recently deepened during her 490-mile pilgrimage along the French route of the Camino de Santiago. This transformative experience enriched her own spiritual journey and offered new insight into the many ways God is present in everyday life.

Fr. Bill Graf, the author of A Pilgrim’s Confession: We Propose; God Laughs, enjoys telling stories of his 65 years as a priest of the Diocese of Rochester where he has served as a College Campus Minister, pastor, and professor at Saint John Fisher University. He helped establish the Archives of the Diocese, worked with Marriage Tribunal for many years, and was the Coordinator of the Ministry to Priests for our Diocese. He currently is an active member of the independent living community at the Addison of Fairways in Victor.
