As we prepare for the new year and you reflect on the past and look forward to the future, a consideration of how you spend your time might be in order. Ask: Do you have enough time for yourself? Enough time for others? Enough time for God? This workshop will provide practical strategies for managing your time as seen through a Christian lens. We will explore current thinking on planning and scheduling, confronting distractions, saying ‘Yes’ and saying ‘No’, taking breaks from busyness, and rethinking time for spiritual contemplation. You will take inventory on how you presently spend your time and consider small changes that may give you better results. Giving yourself a day in a retreat house like Notre Dame will provide great space and some precious time to rethink your priorities and recommit to what is most important to you.
