Roc O’Connor, SJ has been a member the Society of Jesus since 1967 and has served in pastoral settings – parishes, colleges and universities, and Jesuit formation, including as Adjunct Professor of Theology at Creighton University. He earned an MDiv and STM from the Jesuit School of Theology, Berkeley (1983), an STL from the Weston School of Theology, Cambridge (1993), and an MA in Liturgical Studies from The Catholic University of America (2003).

As a founding member of the St. Louis Jesuits, he contributed songs to six recordings and has produced three solo recordings. Their recordings have been nominated for Grammy Awards. Roc currently serves on the staff of the Bellarmine Jesuit Retreat House in Barrington, IL and continues to write music and publish books and articles.
