Women religious retreats

During the summer we offer two opportunities for women religious to come on retreat. Each retreat will have its own theme and retreat master. Registration begins Sunday afternoon and is followed by a week of daily conferences, Eucharist, and prayer services; time for prayer, reflection, and quiet; wonderful meals; and spectacular grounds to explore.

Here are this year’s dates and themes:

July 8-13, 2018

“The Pathway to Holiness: A Closer, More Critical look at the Beatitudes” by Fr. Anthony Michalik, C.Ss.R.

During this week you will take a closer look at the beauty, wisdom and power of the Beatitudes.  In their richness, they offer an unerring roadmap along the pilgrim journey life, pointing always toward authentic relationship with God, one another and our very selves.

Fr. Anthony is a Redemptorist Priest currently stationed at St. Peter The Apostle Church in Philadelphia, PA, site of the National Shrine of St. John Neumann where he is actively involved in both parish and Neumann Shrine ministry.

August 5-10, 2018

“Lord, touch me . . . ” by Fr. Kenneth Gaddy, C.Ss.R.

At different junctures on the Christian journey, we will discover and discern that we need the Lord to touch us in a particular and specific manner.  When we are sick, we need the Lord’s healing touch.  When we experience loneliness or feelings of being unworthy, we need the Lord (to remind us) and touch us with His unconditional love.  So Lord, touch me again.

Fr. Kenneth is a member of the Redemptorist’s community. He is currently serving as an associate pastor at Sacred Heart of Jesus parish in Baltimore, MD.
