During the summer we offer two opportunities for women religious to come on retreat. Each retreat will have its own theme and retreat master. Registration begins Sunday afternoon and is followed by a week of daily conferences, Eucharist, and prayer services; time for prayer, reflection, and quiet; wonderful meals; and spectacular grounds to explore.
Here are this year’s dates and themes:
June 25-30, 2017: FULL as of May 31, 2017
“Aging as a Religious and Our Spirituality as We Age” presented by Sr. M. Peter Lillian DiMaria, O.Carm
Sr. Peter Lillian offered this retreat last year in August and since it was extremely well received, we have asked her back. Her warm stories, deep spirituality and wealth of knowledge of the aging population will resonate with all who attend. It is a privilege to have her back.
Peter Lillian has over thirty-five years’ experience in the continuum care ministry as a Carmelite sister for the Aged and Infirm. Over the past fifteen years, Sr. Peter Lillian and the Avila Institute of Gerontology have worked with many Congregations concerning aging issues.

“Our Mother of Perpetual Help Icon – its power to draw and direct our lives” presented by Fr. Kevin MacDonald, C.Ss.R.
Fr. Kevin will present an in-depth look a the most popular Icon in history. The icon has the power to draw whoever gazes upon it into Paschal Mystery – the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Mary’s story and her response to God’s invitation can help us to identify God’s call and direction in our lives.
Fr. Kevin is a Redemptorist Priest currently assigned to the Redemptorist Community in New Smyrna Beach, FL. He has worked as a parish priest in Dominica, New York, Boston, St. Lucia, and Virgin Islands.
